Zoysia Seed Success Guide

1. Prep: Rake debris, loosen top 1/4–1/2". Target soil pH 6.0–6.5.
2. Seed: Broadcast evenly; lightly topdress with screened compost/sand.
3. Water: thoroughly immediately after planting; then keep soil constantly moist. After emergence, gradually reduce frequency until watering only as needed once established.
4. First mow: When growth reaches ~1.5", use a sharp blade.
5. Aftercare: Light starter fertilizer after establishment; avoid heavy traffic.
